It is fun to run a recipe site- you get to read about great food and add it to your collection. Also, the folks you meet on the web doing it are pretty nice as well. I started my site just to collect a few recipes I lost after Hurricane Katrina but it's grown to be a lot more. The great thing about running it is I can put whatever I want on it, even if it's not technically New Orleans food- good food is good food. It's good to be queen!

Still believed that you desire the "Funniest Educator on Twitter Award".

Personally I love it when my hubby goes away; the longer the better - no need to clean, cook or have schedules! My solution to food is to work through the essential food groups-- you know - pizza, MacDonalds and all the different varieties of takeaway that I can think of, and if they deliver even better! Then my true secret is to leave every bit of mess everywhere and clean up just before he is due to arrive home! Bliss! Perhaps I could send my hubby to visit you so I have a really long break?
