My 60 minute drive began by listening to a great podcast with Jon Udell interviewing Gardner Campbell. Worth a listen. The morning and afternoon I spent showing about 25 teachers how to use Joomla to manage their websites. Pretty traditional PD. Lots of step by step technical support. Necessary but pretty boring. I did get to speak to 100 teachers in Grand [...] [...] Check it out! I have to agree that the "non-traditional PD" method provides the most benefits for teachers. The session last night adapted to the experiences and knowledge of the teachers in the room, and allowed many of those in attendance to develop their skills, instead of being lost in a sea of information. We are always changing the way we teach our students to help them better achieve. Why are we not always doing this for the professional needs of our teachers? Thanks again!
