Hi Dean,
Just came across your comment on Connie's blog and I just had to say HI!! I'm the one who sent Connie the 8th square for her daughters quilt. I too am adopting from China as a single parent and live right here in Moose Jaw. The web is so wonderful and has been a lifesaver for me during this journey to my daughter. I have met so many amazing people, such as Connie who provide me support and encouragement. It is so much fun to share my journey with others and this has been the best way by far!!!
Great to read through your blog & maybe one day I'll run into you on the street with my daughter from China!!!

P.S- You must know Larry Segall??? He is a great friend of my parents!!

Also, I'm far from a quilter....have a few friends who are making it for me!!!

Have a great summer!!!

Thanks so much for mentioning my quilt link. It is going to be a fantastic project and I have met great people during my adoption journey. I will be receiving squares from across the United States, wonderful Canada ;0), France & Germany thus far. The more the merrier. This is going to be such a treasured gift for my daughter.

I am also pleased with the example of how the internet can be used in positive ways :0)
