I shouldn't say that I'm not enjoying my master course but I have to admit the readings are dry. Some of the links I've gone to on twitter offer just as relevant ideas but in way more readable fashion . . . and I don't mean about being able to read it online. I'm still pretty old school: I like it in print format. However, don't be surprised if I quote you and your blog in my next paper! I too had my Master’s Degree conferred on Thursday evening from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. My degree is in Technology for Special Educators and yes, I am just a little excited.

I am not commenting because of that though. I am commenting because my experience was very much the same as yours and it was very hard to explain that to others. I agree that we need to make our experience the same for both our students and our peers. It would make everyone’s lives much easier and much more ineteresting!

I had started a tech certification when we were awarded a large technology grant. My thinking was that I'd need to learn databases, spreadsheets, and other powerful tools to administer the grant, and this would be a way to get credit for the learning I'd be doing. Wrong! The program was not that flexible. Everyone had to make the Green Eggs and Ham spreadsheet regardless of their current level of expertise. So, congratulations on completing your degree, and congratulations on finding such a flexible, relevant program. Congratulation!
