I followed this conference with interest and the frustration mentioned above... wanted to know how it came out! The Wiki-thing is way cool and I've appreciated using it as an administrator. The technologies are so seductive to me. I used to watch "The Yankee Workshop"; he had so many interesting tools. All of this technology makes me feel the same way. I feel for Sandi's frustration... the whole educational structure of Saskatchewan is smaller than Calgary and any number of other Canadian cities... surely we can coordinate with each other.

As a participant-organizer, I enjoyed the open space conference mostly because I could move to & intitiate conversations that were compelling to me. One of my observations was that it is hard for senior administrators to let go of traditional practices. I was urging our group to find ways to share much needed work related to Sk curriculum (afterall, we all teach the same curriculum throughout our province)....and found there was more resistance than willingness to just get started and see where ideas will lead us. So I vacated....and along came another person who just wanted to get on with things. This is not to disparage the questioners, however I'm feeling some urgency to get things done. So watch for a posting area on our wiki -- Share Space on our CurriciWiki.

The wiki should be open
http://openspace.wikispaces.com

If you're interested in reading the notes on jotspot, I'll email you an username/password. The only reason those are private because unlike a wiki, they can be deleted.

Sorry Steve no audio. That probably makes me a psuedo podcaster. I should have called Tim Wilson.

wow, that sounds fantastic! Is the entire wiki private or is there any part that we can snoop through? I'd be really curious to see how things turned out. Any audio captured?
