Thanks for the compliment. I like simple, too. :)

Those whose institutional filters do not allow access to Flickr, a standalone flash slideshow, along similar lines as the Flickr slideshow, might be a solution.

One suggestion: "Simple Viewer"

You make the pictures, it does the rest.

The never ending struggle with filtering. I wish I could say I feel your pain but at this point I haven't been faced with this issue. I suppose I need to consider it as I pass info along. 
Until recently I never checked my blog in IE either not considering that many(most) of my subscribers don't use FireFox.
