Hi, Dean,
The sentiments you expressed in podcast #7 moved me to write about a positive Web 2.0 experience I’m currently enjoying in my teaching.
In my work as a teacher of college writing, I’m having some good luck using Writely in combination with Skype.
I’d be happy to talk/chat/email with you about my work with a setup for collaboration that my students find intuitive and my colleagues find magnetically intriguing.

Hi Dean,
I’ve heard 2 of your podcasts now. Great. I’d like to get my 40 teachers updated in all this starting Jan/06, including the blogging of course. Any specific suggestion/ link to do this would be a help.
Bruce.

Getting teachers “updated” is something I’ve been trying to do for a while. If you’ve got a truly captive audience, I’d suggest some of the sites I mention in the “best of blogosphere post. I’m doing a workshop next month dealing with “all of this”. Darren Kuropatwa’s Rip, Mix and Learn session and blog is similar to my presentation.
These are good introductions, but as I’m realizing, without follow up, it likely won’t sink in and yet I will continue to expose as many teachers as I can to Web 2.0. It is and will most definitely change the way we teach and learn.
